This is in a series of "what not to do..." This one is affectionately called "Need some direction". The major issue with this PS, is the lack of focus. You don't hear much about why this applicant is choosing internal medicine. Much of the paper is a chronological tale of what happened since leaving medical school. Applicants with significant clinical or research experience should build upon that experience as a strength, not simply state what they did. This could have been a much stronger personal statement.-The Fool
