This product is needed by everyone with a camcorder. It does what it says on the box. Each useage uses up a small distance of tape and will keep your camcorder working and will even fix it sometimes when it underperforms. Sony DVM-12CLD isn't what you get!!!! The KK Electronics site clearly shows the DVM-12CLD pictured. But this is NOT what they deliver. This is a breach of the Trades Description Act and I shall be following this up. WARNING: may be DVM-4CLD and not DVM-12CLD as pictured The tape was delivered very quickly - I got it the day after I ordered it - but it was the Sony DVM-4CLD mini-dv head cleaner and not the DVM-12CLD.
