Customer Reviews: Headphone It works very well in general and it is comfortable to wear. I have only one issue with it: Its range is a little limited. The range is limited not in power but in noise suppression sense. A few meters away it still sounds very well, but depending on direction and position of the headset the noise is amplified or suppressed. Fortunately it never gets too bad, so it is just a nuisance.
Static sound I guess this is more of a shout for help :)
I connected the system to my laptop, and there is a distinict static white noise that comes if I turn up the volume even a little bit above minimum. My Surround Input level light keeps flashing indicating Audio Input too low - don't know why. Didn't have any issues with my $10 headphones!
Any help? Pls email kkarthikjgd AT gmail DOT com
Cannot really review, other than the fact that the battery wasnt fully charged when it came in!
Great Buy! I got these before Xmas for a special price and ended up buying two sets - one for my husband for Xmas and one for his father for his Jan. birthday. My only complaint about these is the fact that nowhere did it say you MUST have a headphone plug in your t.v. in order for these to work. I tried for hours with every combination of plugging in and re-setting and unplugging to the input/output on the tv and then to my cable receiver box as well as the dvd player. Nothing worked. I kept thinking either they were defective or I was doing something wrong. After a couple hours I went online and found out that you must have the headphone plug in order for these to work. When I tried them on another tv that had the plug they worked great! Unfortunately, the t.v. that my husband watches most of the time is the older set that does not have the plug, but he is planning on buying a new tv soon. Until then, he does use them on the other t.v., as well as when he is working on the computer - either listening to music or otherwise. He said they are very comfortable and have very good sound. They hold a charge for a very long time and the charger stand is very convenient and works well. My husband can now watch loud movies and t.v. without bothering the rest of the family (he tends to have the volume up pretty high) and my kids sometimes use them while playing their video games and they work wonderful for that as well. I am extremely happy that I purchased these and wish I had bought a couple more at the great price I got them at.
Peace of mind for the whole family... I should have bought these headphones much earlier. Since I use it watching TV my wife can read her books undisturbed with me sitting next to her zapping through the channels or viewing my favorite shows.
The headphones do exactly what I wanted and the sound quality is sufficient for that purpose, i.e. watching TV.
Even surround sound is not bad at all. So I basically support all positive reviews made here.
The only issue I had was a defective volume control (it crackled and popped when I adujsted a lower volume level). But my seller, CAMSDIGITAL, did a great job and replaced the whole package within a few days and even reimbursed the shipping cost.
Overall I am very satisfied with the product and the service.
Some Reviewers Clearly Don't Know How To Use This This is a very good product. Once you start using this you will wonder how you ever played your xbox/ps3 or watched tv without them. They batteries go into one of the headphones, they're recharegeable lithium AA batteries. They charge directly on the stand. (make sure NOT to put regular AA batteries into them or they will explode! during charging!) I use this for surround sound for xbox 360 and ps3 and I am very happy. There could be an issue with hissing noise if there is interference but it is easily solved. Turn up the sound on the TV to at least 50% and turn volume down on the headphones.
Pros
-No Cord
-rechargeable AA format batteries
-charges fast
-Good loud sound
-you can turn surround feature on or off
-comfortable, looks large but not heavy
-comes with headphone adapter, in case you need it
Cons
-controls might be hard to find on the back
-No software included to do anything on your computer
-no way to test surround features (for example to test how positioning works)
-no explanation what the difference is between SRS, Surround, and Dolby (so it sounds good, but how do you know if its true surround?)
