Customer Reviews: Scandinavian waffles? check. 5 hearts? check This is just what I was looking for. I wanted to make thin, Scandinavian waffles, and this makes the perfect ones. Of course, it also has the required _five_ hearts, not the imitation four hearts (alright, we can argue this, but it SHOULD have five hearts, not that you can tell when you're eating them). I was afraid it was too small, and it is on the small side. But it cooks/burns/heat evenly, and I get perfect waffles every time. They don't stick to it either, which is always a bonus.
crispy waffles at last! Finally I have found a waffle maker that makes crispy waffles instead of the mushy ones you get with many of the other waffle makers out there. The kids love the breakable heart shapes that they can dip in the syrup. Has a ready light and lots of settings depending on how dark you want it. Highly recommended!
Hot cakes, a heart shaped waffle We like the new iron very much. We are not fond of Belgian waffles and that kind of iron seems to dominate the market. This is a small, well made little machine and its controls give you just what you want after a couple of trial runs.
Great kitchen gadget It's small enough to fit in my little kitchen. It works as advertised. The waffles were fast to make. Clean up is easy. Hardly any needed. I made mine very light (folded in whipped egg whites after the batter was all mixed up.) I can imagine making these heart shaped waffles for dessert.
Two thumbs up!!! This waffle maker is fantastic. I purchased this as a gift for my husband and we use it at least 3 days a week. It makes the perfect size waffle and is simple to use. Clean up is a breeze and it is small enough to take with us when we travel.
