Customer Reviews: I used this book for Step 3. I hope I passed the test. I scored a 220 on the step 2 with the step up series. For the step 3 and I used Conrad Fischer's book entited Master the Boards and studied for 1 month. I took the first part of the exam today and I am hoping I passed. I felt so underprepared. I don't recommend using this book as prep for the exam all by itself.
perfectly to the point This book is one of the most amazing books i ever used !! it acts as your study mate and your USMLE exam partner. So far i believe it is The only book which REALLY shows you how to answer the CCS. it reflects the wonders and the thoughts that might pass in your mind while studying it is short and to the point. i like it sooooooooo much. Dr Conrod fisher proved to be a great teacher and a talented author as well. I deeply appreciate this great contribution to the medical field by his way of teaching in this book.
spelling problems
I feel in a generalized way satisfied with the book but I feel that this book it wasn't rewiewed before it was printed.
The shipping was faster than I have had expected, also the book was in very good conditions, but I have found some spelling mistakes that it shouldn't be in the book if it is reviewed.
I'm going to show you some examples: pg 26, 27 and 30 Atovoquone. Pg 79 polyuryia. pg 101 methyl prednisilone. pg. 112 respriratory. pg.119 prostasacyclin and even more...
pg. 105 say PTF results: COPD and the table correspond to ILD restrictive patron.
Very good! Excellent book, you can use it for step2 as well as a final review ,fast shipping!
Concise and Interesting to read! Highly recommended! I purchased this book after thinking a lot because i already had Kaplan entire Step 3 notes and didnt want to spend more. However i decided to buy anyways since it was my last exam and did'nt want to take any chances. To my surprise i found this book extremely interesting to read. Once i started reviewing this book i realized that it was very concise and informative. I will certainly without a second thought recommend this book for anyone who wishes to study for Step 3.
