Customer Reviews: Get it. The book is very thorough and, most importantly, extremely approachable.
I love it. I spilled coffee on a couple pages and got visibly upset.
I'll also say I appreciate the summary pages he includes at the end of the book -
fast and accurate reference!
easybreezyEKG I had this book when I first started in EKG back in 1971 and was the first tech in SC to be trained in Holter monitoring. I found this one book to be extremely easy to follow and to learn to quickly identify disrhythmias. I have owned several copies since then and each one has been borrowed and never returned. I'm keeping this one as a good reference book for sometimes difficult rhythms. For someone who has little background this book allows you to self test all the way through and gives practice strips as you go. The answers are on the side so you can know what you missed without going back and forth so much.
Excellent condition, in time I got 2 books: this one (Dubin ECG) and the Step1 First Aid. Both were in impeccable condition and arrived on time.
Excellent Supplement for Medical Student Education I am a first year medical student, and bought this book on the advice of a second year. It has saved me during our cardio block. Our instructors don't teach EKGs very well, and this book explains them very clearly. It is also a pretty quick read, and works very well to help you learn and understand the material, not just memorize it. Buy this book!
great Great beginners book. Afterwards I feel competent at catching the big stuff. Great introduction though.
