Handbook of Fractures I have not received this book as of 6-13-09 it was ordered on 6-4-09. I will not order from this company again
A must for anyone new to traumatic medicine I have found this book to be surprisingly thorough for a "handbook." It is easy to glean information from, which is a must for me in my busy practice as a PA.
Concise and Conclusive Handy book that be with you all the time containing everything you need in nearly everything needed in trauma orthopedics.
Good book
Mediocre Many important topics in this book are presented
not in a cutting edge manner and the stuff can
easily be found in all standard text;
Newest topics in trauma like minimal invasive
surgery, computer aided surgery, new AO thinking
that everyone doing trauma is talking about these days
not covered or grossly inadequate
I have 2 juniors who used to work with one of the authors,
they told me there is a great discrepancy between
what that author claims he would do in his
little text, as compared to his actual practice
in real life. I hope this is not the case, but
if it is, readers will not be pleased
