Customer Reviews: A must have! I had the older edition of this book, but the newest edition is definitely improved and has newer, better, and more information. So it was worth getting it. Great book! Definitely a must have for any anesthesia student.
The take-home message! I'm going through my first semester of Nurse Anesthesia course, and this book is the book in which I keep finding all the answers. Where Nagelhout, Stoettling, Miller et all have LOTS of information in them, this book distills what you need to know, and tells it to you in a concise, easy to understand, plain English sort of way. If I had to have only one book, this would be the one.
Great for Recert After slaving away thru half of Barash and Stoelting, I purchased this book. Much easier and less boring read and it has what u need for the recertification test. Combined with Jensen's notes, I had no problem on the test. Highly recommend.
Looks small but thorough. Awesome book. Covers everything with nice layout to keep you from getting bored.
Cant wait for the new edition.
Saves space by not repeating anything discussed once, so I wrote linking page numbers on the book.
My favorite anesthesia text for the ABA exam My primary source for the ABA exam. I passed the 8/05/08 exam!!! A great source. Read it three times before the exam and if you understand the information you will pass the exam. The regional section was particularly helpful.
