HandyMed Introduces HandyRef and HandyHeart 2.0!
Sunday, January 21st, 2007
Our friends over at HandyMed have introduced HandyRef and HandyHeart 2.0! HandyRef is a cool PocketPC (Windows Mobile) reference with insulin sliding scaled, steroid comparisons, and narcotic comparisons. HandyHeart includes cardiovascular stuff like hypertension management guidelines, ACC/AHA Guidelines for Perioperative CV Evals (great for Internal Medicine consults). You also can get a copy of the award winning HandyCards flashcards system! Very cool. The other apps cost a mere $2.95.
Even the Fool can afford that! -Fool!

That’s right! “Noelle” will give birth for medical students as birth rates drop to their lowest historical levels in those countries. Sounds a bit crazy there. I can understand practicing CPR on dummies, but this is going to extremes! How about sending some of those medical students to other countries for rotations in Obstetrics where they can also help fill a medical need! Looks like robots are taking over! I’ve heard of Roomba and Scooba, but now: Birthba!
